Astrabeam was founded and bootstrapped by Dr. Kevin Gu, whose pioneering work at IBM Research advanced millimeter-wave frontend technologies for 5G radio access applications. Astrabeam has further developed its technology through SBIR/STTR projects and research grants, collaborating with a world-class team of passionate innovators with extensive expertise in electromagnetic and RF design, system integration, and advanced signal processing to drive innovation in millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz sensing applications. With industry-leading experts serving as advisors, Astrabeam is actively participating in multiple accelerator programs to advance its commercialization efforts.
